THE DENIM INDEX
Everything that goes into a pair of Fybr8s, explained without the marketing. If a number is on this page, it is on the fabric.

Ring-spun, mercerised cotton
Ring spinning twists fibres tightly into a strong, slightly irregular yarn. That irregularity is where denim's character comes from: the slubs, the way it fades along the seams. Mercerising treats the cotton so the fibre swells and smooths, taking dye deeper and feeling softer in hand.

98% cotton, 2% elastane
A cotton-rich blend with just enough elastane to move. No polyester, so the fabric breathes and the fades stay honest. The elastane is a 70D core yarn: stretch is wrapped in cotton, so the fabric still feels like cotton.

12.5 oz · 96 × 58
Twelve and a half ounces per square yard puts this in mid-heavy territory: enough body to hold a straight leg, not so much that it needs a month to break in. 96 warp and 58 weft threads per inch is the weave density behind that.

Enzyme · Blast · Overdyed
Enzyme washing softens the fabric and lifts surface indigo for a lived-in look. Blast finishing adds texture and contrast. Overdyeing takes the fabric through a second dye bath, which is how we reach teal, olive, rust and royal blue without printing.

Wash less, wash cold
Inside out, cold, mild detergent, line dry in shade. The less often you wash, the better the fade. Full care instructions will match the garment label once finalised.
